CalcForge RPM Repository

Welcome to the CalcForge RPM Repository, maintained and hosted by Tyler Cassidy. This repository contains Free Software and other distributable software (free for non-commercial use) related to TI calculators packaged for CentOS. (Currently, packages are built for CentOS 5.)

THIS REPOSITORY IS NO LONGER UPDATED! As Tyler Cassidy no longer uses CentOS, this repository is looking for a new maintainer. If no new maintainer can be found, the repository will be REMOVED. Anybody interested in picking up maintainership of this repository is kindly requested to contact Tyler Cassidy and Kevin Kofler through our message board.

All dependency packages are located on the CentOS Repository, EPEL For RHEL 5 (http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/EPEL), kde-redhat for RHEL 5 (http://kde-redhat.sourceforge.net/) and here. It is important that you have added EPEL and kde-redhat to the package downloader or you will get dependancy errors.

IMPORTANT: This is a CentOS RPM repository. The packages in this repository have not been tested on other RPM-based distributions (e.g. OpenSUSE, Mandriva etc.), and thus are not supported in any way under these distributions. If you are interested in a repository of these packages for those distributions, I can provide hosting for you, but you have to be prepared to:

rebuild the packages from the Source RPMs,
change dependencies (in particular BuildRequires) where the other distribution names the same packages in a different way, or with different Epoch numbering,
fix any issues which show up on the other distribution. (I can help, but don't expect me to maintain these packages for all those distributions!)

If you're not experienced with packaging, the best way to get these packages is to simply use CentOS. (Note: A Repository for Fedora packages by Kevin Kofler is also available.)
